The family‑run house was very well maintained. The village of Bad Wildbad lies deep in a narrow valley, so even though the room’s terrace is nice, the view is limited to the hill across.

Walking into Bad Wildbad, the Kuurpark is stunning with lovely trees, a small river, and hanging lanterns that create a fairy‑tale effect at dusk—super clean. It was also great to receive a guest card (free after more than two stays) that lets you take the train up, walk, and cross the suspension bridge. A day in the Wellness and sauna (Palais Thermal) is free for three hours with the card. Several restaurants and ice‑cream shops are nearby, and parking on the hotel courtyard was convenient. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The shopping streets feel a bit empty with many vacant buildings, though the historic architecture balances it out. It’s nice that a tram‑like train runs through the village.

The ground‑floor room with a terrace overlooking a beautiful large garden was very nice and very quiet, clean, and well equipped.
