It has a pool, but it isn’t worth the price. The remote spot, bad communication, high food costs, and the AC and TV that didn’t work properly made it a poor deal.

The place was clean and cozy, and the staff were very helpful when needed. The continental breakfast was great for the price, and the pool was easily accessible from the room. The only downside was the lack of nearby restaurants for lunch or dinner, which the hotel didn’t offer.

I was thrilled with my stay at PJ Hotels; the staff were incredibly attentive, supplying everything we requested and pointing us toward every landmark and tourist spot in Jaffna, as well as recommending lunch and dinner spots that fit our preferences. A local eatery just a 1‑2 minute walk away let us grab food when we didn’t want to dine out. The pool was fantastic, with a shallow end perfect for casual fun and a deeper section for a proper workout, all without any interruptions, and it was the right size and depth. The rooms were spotless, had excellent air‑conditioning, and included tea‑making facilities. There were plenty of comfortable seating areas to read, and the driver’s room was a nice bonus. For the price we paid, I wouldn’t have expected anything else—it was great value for money.
