Giorgi's Homestay

All the hosts we booked across Georgia (seven different hosts in total) were wonderful, but Georgiy was simply amazing! The place itself is beautiful, clean, and stylish with unique décor. The rooms and the house have everything you could wish for, but what really makes it special is Georgiy—caring, attentive, smart, interesting, super hospitable, and kind. It was a pleasure chatting with him in the evenings and sipping tea made from herbs or his homemade wine (delicious). He also offered us his own grapes and local cuisine, and he cooks very well. It was the best accommodation we had in Georgia! If I ever visit Kutaisi again, I’ll stay here and nowhere else.

The host Giorgi is incredibly welcoming and helpful, speaking Polish fluently and always ready to offer advice. In the evenings he gathers all guests in the kitchen for a relaxed chat and integration. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

“Zdecydowanie warto się tu zatrzymać!”

First of all – an exceptionally friendly and welcoming host, who – to my surprise – speaks Polish very well (surely a plus for Polish tourists!). The location is great, just a few steps from Bagrati Cathedral, with easy access to the Red Bridge and the main part of the city. The room is spacious. Private bathroom, kitchen access. Comfortable bed and a heavy duvet that really helps with a good night's sleep. The only downside would be that the room could have a bit brighter lighting; evenings were a little dark, making reading difficult. But that’s a tiny detail compared to all the positives!
