It’s close to the UMich campus for parents visiting their kids. The staff were friendly and there was plenty of space.

The beds felt comfy, but a microwave exploded in the lobby, our shower made a horrible racket and was slow to heat up, the shampoo and conditioner had an odd scent that triggered my allergies, and the hotel double‑charged me for the room—$270.03 was paid beforehand and then charged again upon arrival; the refund hasn’t processed yet, and the property’s location was hard to locate.

Considering the type of hotel it is, the breakfast options were quite satisfactory, with a decent selection to choose from. The room was also relatively spacious, and I appreciated the fact that the windows could be opened for some fresh air. However, I did find the fridge to be quite loud, and the converted couch took up a significant portion of the room, making it feel a bit cramped.

I was initially a bit disappointed when we arrived at 5:00 and our room wasn't ready, but we only had to wait for about a half hour. However, the two-room suite ended up meeting our needs perfectly for this trip, making it a great stay overall.
