Very relaxed, clean, fantastic staff, everything you need, and the beds were larger than at other hostels, which was great—I hit my head a lot at the previous spot. They went above and beyond when I made a mistake that would have cost me money, and they still helped me. That level of customer service is unbeatable. The price is unbelievable; it won’t stay this low for long. Bravo.

I booked a single room, but the staff told me only dormitories were available and forced me into one; check‑in starts at 5 pm, so I had no chance to find another place and accepted the situation, yet I never received a refund. The 3‑week stay was abruptly shifted to another hostel in the chain, which felt like a Philippine prison with drunk people everywhere during the day. The bathroom was a biohazard, and as other comments state, the deposit never comes back. I would not recommend this place, and even the booking site has a problem.

The area is generally nice, with many shops and activities nearby. Unfortunately, my stay didn’t meet my expectations at all. Contrary to the online description, no room had a private bathroom; only shared bathrooms were offered. Because several houses belong to the same owner, I was eventually placed in a different house. The property was somewhat untidy, smelled like garbage, and insects were present. The shared‑bathroom room was very small, the mattress lay directly on the floor, and there was hardly any space for luggage. Additionally, I had to pay a $100 deposit. Getting the refund was difficult—I had to call and contact multiple times. In the end, fees were deducted that I couldn’t understand. For the price charged, the service is insufficient. The biggest disappointment was the mismatch between the online description and the actual accommodation.

They promised the $100 deposit taken at arrival would be refunded within 7 days, but 15 days have passed and the money is still missing. Two people inspected the room when we left and found no issues, yet the deposit remains unpaid.

I didn’t get to experience the place I booked because the same room had already been reserved for other guests. They tried to fit me in, but it wasn’t what I asked for, leaving me disappointed, sad, and angry. I had booked it for my birthday, only to leave and ask for a refund, ruining my weekend and celebration.
