The staff were truly adorable, the accommodation is located just behind the street with all the restaurants, etc., right next to the beach! The bathroom is really nice 😃. The bed squeaks and is a bit hard 😅.

The room was clean, spacious with AC and a fan to keep us cool. Breakfast was hearty and delicious with an amazing fruit platter. We didn’t have the adapter for the socket, so the owner kindly lent us one. Overall we had a lovely stay; the staff were so kind and lovely. We definitely recommend! Nothing negative.

The location was superb, right next to the beach and the main restaurant street. The continental breakfast was great, and they also offered Sri Lankan dishes on request. The host was very friendly and helpful; I had booked only two nights but ended up staying four without any issues. On the last day I had arranged a night bus to Colombo, and they were so kind they left an empty room for me to store my bags and take a shower the evening before departure. The road where the property sits is a secondary street, poorly lit and not very busy. While Sri Lanka is generally calm, if you’re a solo woman like me, you might worry about such things. Luckily, nothing serious happened to me.

The location was perfect, close to the sea yet still away from the noise. The room was basic but decent. The breakfast was good, especially the Sri Lankan option. The only downside was that they were the only place that asked us to pay extra taxes for the room, which they claimed were not included in the booking price, but they couldn’t explain the reason clearly. The bathroom was a bit uncomfortable.
