Very relaxing and the owners were so great and accommodating

The hosts’ welcome was awful, with many rude and inappropriate remarks; they even called us foreigners even though they’re French like us, while other Balinese hosts were perfect. We had to walk across the whole property with five bags even though a second entrance was right next to the room. The room was noisy, and to top it off, there were lots of ants in the bed and eggs under the pillow. The toilet wasn’t fixed, so we couldn’t stay more than one night.

Big shout‑out to Paul and Carol for hosting me again at their place—being a repeat guest says it all! The spot between Ulawatu and Nusa Dua is a huge draw, plus the price and the five‑star vibe fit a tight budget. The staff were great, helpful and friendly. The property stays in good shape and the pool is perfect for a cool, relaxing break.
