“Overall rather unpleasent stay”
The communal areas were nice, the kitchen was well equipped, and the free dryer and washer were a plus, but the rooms were disappointing: I had never seen a room with AC that couldn’t be adjusted; the AC control could only be changed by the owners and affected the whole floor—our outlet was directly above the head of the bed, blowing freezing cold air straight onto us. The community manager was friendly but said nothing could be done and couldn’t change it. Another guest we met complained of the same issue. The rooms would have benefited from decent fans on top for temperature control. The bathroom was spacious but offered no storage; we had to put everything on the floor, any cheap cupboard would do. The shower was terrible—the head sometimes fell off, splashing water onto the ceiling and out of the shower; setting the temperature was tricky and the door didn’t close properly, leaving a wet floor after every shower. Minor damages included partly missing tiles in the shower and a slightly damaged bedroom floor. Nothing too bad, but overall it was rather disappointing—especially for the price of the stay, I expected more.
