The location was great, the hotel restaurant was superb (though not part of the hotel/Greek), and the breakfast buffet was lovely. The only downside was that parking on site wasn’t available.

“Enttäuschend”

We loved being right in the heart of the beautiful old town, and the breakfast staff member was genuinely friendly and attentive, while the bed was superb and the air‑conditioning was a relief in the heat—though it sat directly above the bed, rendering it unusable at night. The reception was only manned during breakfast, and we were the sole guests at that hour; although we knew the upper floors were reachable only by stairs, giving us a room on the top (3rd) floor of an empty hotel felt pointless, especially since the room was very dusty, contained an empty medication box from the previous guest, and the coffee machine still held water with a capsule compartment so coated in dust we never used the pods. In the deluxe room we booked, a safe and perhaps a fridge should have been standard, and the missing bathroom wipes were unacceptable. We couldn’t point out the issues or have them fixed because nobody else was around, and the weekend breakfast didn’t start until 9 am, forcing us to leave without eating. Paying almost €400 for two nights under those conditions just doesn’t add up; we won’t book this hotel again and can’t recommend it.
