I love this place: the staff are great, locals are friendly, and I've stayed here several times over the past decade because my family lives in the nearby village. The rooms are very clean, breakfast and dinner are excellent, and the old hotel/pub feels warm thanks to the host’s efforts. There’s a large car park, and I couldn’t find anything negative.

The most cozy place I've ever stayed at. The staff were incredibly welcoming both in the afternoon and evening, as well as in the morning. The menu was tasty, and the whole setting felt flavorful and well‑arranged. The bar and the pub attached to the street-side room were pleasant. Breakfast was lovely, and we could choose what we wanted. It was the best way to end a week‑long tour of Scotland—definitely worth a visit. Everything was just perfect.

The reception was authentic, the hotel dates back to 1600, the room was okay and tidy, the bathroom was small, and for the first time I had a steak that stayed warm until the end, served on a metal heated plate. The breakfast was very good. No immediate issues.
