Hotel Stein Elbogen occupies the former residence of Bohemia’s oldest porcelain factory owners, featuring a fireplace, sun terrace, and garden. Guests receive homemade breakfast from a menu, premium coffee at the café bar, and complimentary tea, marmalade, and juice. On‑site enclosed parking, nearby train/bus stations, a cycling path to Karlovy Vary, and a five‑minute walk to Loket Castle provide convenience.

The location made it easy to walk into the village, the room was spacious with a kitchenette, the bed was comfy, and a male staff member was friendly and helpful; he suggested a local restaurant that turned out to be superb. The village itself was delightful, and parking was convenient—there were spots at both the top and bottom of the property since there was no lift. On the downside, a female staff member in the morning wasn’t very friendly, possibly due to a language barrier; I didn’t realize they only accepted cash for coffee, and I only had a card.
