The old house had a wonderful atmosphere steeped in history, a beautiful view, silence, and only natural sounds; the host, Rusiko, was warm, caring, and kind, cooked a tasty lunch, offered coffee and sweets to the kids, and spent a lot of time with us, leaving only warm memories like visiting close relatives. A nearby mountain river is perfect for relaxing and forgetting everything:)))) we recommend it. The only negatives were the beds were not very comfortable, and during our stay there were water problems (either no water or hot water ran out quickly) and a repairman had to come to fix everything; we hope the water situation improves! Otherwise everything was fine.
“Fantastic night in a clean and comfortable rustic home!”
The home felt very authentic and rustic, we loved the spectacular view and the peace. It was a bit off the main road, making it somewhat hard to reach, and there were no nearby shops for essentials.
“Charmant huis op het einde van de berg”
A beautiful Georgian house! Delicious food, a friendly dog, and it was quite a ride to get there by 4×4.
The house and its views are amazing, and the food was very nice! The place is a bit remote and there's not much to do nearby, and the extra services were pricey—like the transfer from the main road or a 10‑lari "service" charge for dinner—something I never saw in a guesthouse.
“A lovely, special place in the This is a mountains, rivers, greenery and endless hospitali”
This guesthouse lets you experience real Georgia; it was a rare treat to stay there. The place is rustic, not luxurious, but very cozy, set in a stunning spot with 360‑degree views, and close to hiking trails and swimming spots—ideal for a relaxed getaway. But be aware it's about 12 km of mainly rocky, windy road from Oni. Ruskio, the owner, can meet your taxi or car halfway in her Subaru if needed; she's an incredible cook, and her menu works for vegetarians and meat lovers alike—just delicious. The only issue is the shared bathroom sometimes runs out of water briefly while the tank refills, affecting the shower.
