The hotel is close to the ferry dock on the West Bank. The room feels very basic; the double bed dominates the space and there’s hardly any storage. The bathroom is simple but acceptable, and the kitchenette is a wreck, though it does have an electric kettle. The staff are almost absent during the day, with a young guy popping in and out at odd hours, and the night watchman speaks no English and isn’t very friendly.

Excellent place, clean, comfortable, good furnishings, decent breakfast—highly recommended.

The accommodation was fine and comfortable, had everything we needed, but only one light worked so the room was a bit dark—still manageable. Overall it was secure and we were the only guests for three nights, so the night security guard was reassuring. Breakfast isn’t included; if you want it you pay 300 EGP per person, which isn’t worth it. Instead, walk down the street to a great café that serves filled pita breakfast for 25 EGP—very filling and worth every cent.

I loved the vibe here; it looks really nice and welcoming! The room was good, the bed comfy, and overall a great experience—just like the photos. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, but it’s used by many people, so that’s to be expected.
