Breakfast was okay, but the tub faucet was leaking, the ice machine was broken, the elevator was broken, and the receptionist was not friendly.

The bed was extremely comfortable, though the route to get there seemed roundabout.

The room was very quiet overall and the blackout curtains worked well; the bed and pillows were comfy, with five pillows of varying firmness to choose from. However, from the adjoining room we could hear a constant running of some kind of machinery or appliance—possibly the fridge—night and day; it wasn’t super loud but loud enough to hear without trying and made it hard to sleep if you ever woke up. We mentioned it to the desk person, but nothing changed. Aside from that, the location was quiet, there was no outside noise, and the doors seemed to block out average hallway sounds. Breakfast was good. If you’re gluten free, they offer scrambled eggs and link sausage, instant grits and oatmeal (Quaker brand), bananas and apples, and real orange juice. They also have regular bread, English muffins, breakfast muffins, two kinds of cereal (not gluten free), milk (no dairy free milk), yogurt, a waffle machine, regular and decaf coffee, and three kinds of tea. The food area was clean and the food was passable, and compared to other motels, the breakfast quality is above average.

When I came down for breakfast, there was only one piece of bread left and hardly any eggs; the eggs that remained were dry. The only drink options were water, milk, coffee, or orange juice—no apple juice or any other fruit juice.

“I think I said it all. EXCELLENT.”

Breakfast was excellent, the coffee fantastic, and the hotel was clean and comfortable; I’ll stay at Choice Hotels anytime.
