The photos of the room were quite misleading; the window was lit in the pictures, but in reality there is a brick fence right in front of it and a car wash behind, so the view is not as advertised and the noise is almost constant all day. The exhaust right under the window is audible all the time, and the room is on the first floor where it is very damp – after 10 days our belongings barely dried. The toilet always had a bad sewage smell and the toilet itself leaked. The staff attitude was lacking; during check‑in we were given almost no explanation, no information about the layout of the hotel, the cleaning schedule or other important details, and we had to ask everything ourselves. Later we discovered that our payment for the room had simply been forgotten or not recorded properly. The bed was extremely squeaky; at night I had to move to the other side to avoid the loud creak and I even woke up because of it. The first floor was constantly noisy, with people smoking near the entrance, so cigarette smoke and other odors from the corridor drifted straight into our room. I understand this was a budget room and I didn’t expect luxury, but even a budget room should offer basic comfort and proper guest treatment. The glass doors to the room are a real issue – they are only covered with a light curtain that offers no privacy, which is especially unpleasant on the first floor where people are always passing by. There was also only one socket for the whole room.
Wonderful hotel, convenient location, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere – I really enjoyed it! Thanks, Ilya, Mamuka!
A cozy first‑floor room with a small kitchen that has all the essentials: a mini stove, fridge, and dishes. It would also be comfortable and spacious for four people. The same building houses a Spar supermarket, and opposite there are many places to eat quickly and deliciously. Just a few steps across the courtyard and you’re on the beach. The room and shower are very clean. I wish the owners had installed curtains instead of the sheer fabric on the kitchen and entrance door, because the area is a passageway; closing the door would help.
Great value for money, a very economical setup – we had the simplest room and it worked for us.
Probably the best price‑quality combo; the breakfasts were highly recommended. We stayed in three hotels in Georgia in this price range and this one was the tastiest and most varied. The sea is just a walk through an internal passage, avoiding the main streets. A currency exchange point is nearby, and the location was ideal for us.
