The rooms were very old. The air‑conditioning didn’t work well, and there was no conditioner in the bathroom.

The breakfast was amazing, the location was spot on and the staff were incredibly helpful; the hotel really outdid me, though the bath felt a little worn out.

The hotel had a bad smell, even in the room advertised as anti‑allergic. The receptionist had no patience for foreign guests who speak little Portuguese. I stayed only one day and switched hotels, and I haven’t received my booking refund yet.

I've stayed at numerous Embassy Suites including this one a few times. The room was roomie as expected. We had 4 in our party and were given a Conference room with no couch which left all of us to share beds or sleep on top of the conference table. The remotes didn't work, we killed a roach within 15 minutes of being in the room. There was a party on the 1st floor (we were on the 2nd floor right above it) and it was so loud I could feel the vibrations from the drums and hear every single word the singer was saying. When they ended at 11pm we heard some loud sound happened every 10-15 minutes all night and morning so sleep was very hard to come by that night. Breakfast was very lacking this time. Limited options, items not refresh when out, no spoons. It was such a disappointment this time, I do not want to return to this location again
