“brudno”
The location and host were fine, but despite staying only one night, it was the worst place I’ve ever slept in. The bathroom and room were infested with cockroaches and ants in huge numbers. I understand that the Moroccan climate can attract bugs, but the room was just filthy: cobwebs, stains on the sheets, dirt under the bed and on the floor. The door and walls weren’t sealed, letting bugs in, and the bathroom drain was crawling with roaches. I spoke with owners of other Moroccan properties and it’s possible to control this, but here the scale was too large to comfortably use the bathroom. It’s the first such place in Morocco and the world where I felt so uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it if you don’t want to bring bugs into your backpack – two roaches ended up in our bags and we had to shake our clothes on the balcony. The only redeeming factor is the kind host.
