It’s a real tree‑house with the amenities that come with it (dry toilets and an outdoor shower)… an amazing experience for anyone looking for a return to nature in a calm, unique setting! We loved it; our host, who speaks French but not only, welcomed us warmly! The place is incredible… a must‑do for those who want to get off the beaten path! And a great stop on the Puuc road.

We fell in love with The Republic of Corn, and it's a place that everyone should experience at least once. Victor's warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and his dogs were the perfect welcome committee. We were amazed by the natural surroundings, and Victor even provided us with a pair of binoculars to spot birds and identify trees. His cooking was exceptional, and we enjoyed the fresh fruit and herbal tea from the garden.
