The staff were friendly and generally tried to meet our requests with good willingness. The cleaning was honestly what disappointed us the most. If we didn't explicitly ask for the room to be cleaned, no proper cleaning happened and basic items like toilet paper and towels weren’t restocked. I believe these services should be performed or checked daily without the guest having to request them. Also, the hotel is quite hidden and the surrounding area didn’t seem pleasant. We felt that several important pieces of information were not communicated clearly enough, which caused various confusions during our stay. On the other hand, the prices for food and especially the beers inside the hotel seemed high compared to the usual prices we find elsewhere in Bali.

The staff were friendly and efficient, and the room has a minimalist vibe but works perfectly. I had a tasty meal at the restaurant: pork belly sambal matah. There is no window, so no natural light comes in, and soundproofing is lacking. Parking is limited. They make dry, crunchy churros, but I prefer mine soft inside.

The staff were courteous, and the balcony and attic were good for the beds. They were very helpful carrying luggage up the stairs since there is no elevator. Board games, fussball for families, and a small swimming pool with slides for kids were available. Renovation is still underway, so rooms were not ready to occupy. There were leakages in the bathroom, insects in the wall, the room wasn’t properly cleaned, the lock and power socket were missing. We moved to another room, but the leakage persisted. Breakfast was basic. No English communication. No elevator meant we had to climb stairs and rely on a mobile translator.
