“Fabulous accommodation.”
Lovely
“Lovely 3 days in Shropshire”
The owners were very welcoming and took great care of us. The house and its surroundings are simply fabulous, and I loved the historic period features. The four‑poster bed, the deep round‑top bath, the huge rooms, and our own lounge to relax in were all fantastic. We took advantage of the delicious platter offered, all sourced locally. Breakfasts were copious, with eggs fresh from their own chickens and cooked to order. The area is wonderful to explore: we visited Craven Arms 'Discovery Centre', Stokesay Castle, the ruins of Clun Castle and the Postcard Cafe, Bury Ditches Iron Age hill fort, Church Stretton, the Long Mynd, the market town of Much Wenlock, Wenlock Priory, and walked a circular path on Wenlock Edge. It was a great three‑day break, just around 40 miles from home in Worcester. Nothing to dislike; the area has so much to offer and plenty of space to explore.
“Fabulous.”
A lovely historic property that felt just like home.
A truly stunning place to stay; every minute was delightful. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and very welcoming. Thanks for a fabulous stay—nothing could be better.
“a delightful , rural retreat.”
A characterful property with very friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast that included free scones and muffins for afternoon tea. The bath was difficult to get into if you are handicapped.
