The location was spot‑on, the mattress was a dream, the shower always hot, and the breakfast spread was solid. On the downside, the bathroom was a mess – the carpet was filthy and the overall cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. It feels like it needs a full makeover and the price is a bit steep for what you get, especially for a rustic inn.

Nestled right at the base of the mountain near Pico do Papagaio, the place offers gorgeous nature and a lovely climate in Aiuruoca. The owners, a friendly couple, provide great service. However, the value isn’t great, especially during peak season. They also charged extra for a New Year’s dinner, which was optional but added to the cost.

The room was super comfortable with an amazing bed, and the overall stay was great. It’s close to several beautiful waterfalls, and the owners are very helpful. I didn’t find anything I didn’t like.

Elaine, Samir, and their kids deserve kudos for their warm welcome, dedication, and attention to guests, many of whom have been coming back for years. The setting is breathtaking, and the arrival is breathtakingly beautiful. The accommodations are comfortable, cozy, and come with spotless sheets and towels. There are plenty of options whether you’re traveling solo, with family, or friends – chalets, rooms with a view, or simple rooms.
