I loved the place and the vibe. Lovely hosts and very backpacker‑friendly vibes in a spot overlooking the Kanchendzonga! Will come back soon for a longer stay.

If you’re after peace and views, this hostel in the Pelling area is unbeatable. Getting there is a bit of a trek, but it’s totally worth it—take a taxi from town if you need to. The beds are super‑comfortable, rooms spotless, and the hot water really is hot. The real cherry on top is the staff: kind, considerate, friendly, and incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived until I left, making everyone feel welcome and at home. The only hiccup was that there was no wifi during my stay because of network issues; Jio sims work fine, but Airtel is patchy across Sikkim. I have balance/proprioception issues, so reaching the hostel was a bit tricky, but taxis are available if you don’t want to walk. When it was time to leave, the staff arranged a shared taxi that came straight to the hostel, so I didn’t have to climb the hill with my backpack—plus they even carried my bag to the taxi, which was incredibly sweet and true to the level of care I received throughout my stay.

One of the cutest hostels I’ve stayed at; we could see the Himalayas from the balcony. The food was simple, and the host was really nice and helpful. You do need to walk a bit to reach this hostel.
