“Nur wenn es wirklich keine Alternative gibt”
The only thing I liked was the location. The hotel was left to an utterly overwhelmed teenager. The owner/manager was called on the phone when nothing else made sense. The bathroom was filthy, had no hot water, no toilet paper, no Wi‑Fi, and the water bottle was already opened and either drunk or not refilled. I could keep listing problems, like with the food, but I’ll spare you that.
“Deception”
I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service during my recent stay. The overall service was far below expectations and quite horrible. Even more frustrating, after I had already arranged with the hotel to change the booked dates without any extra fees, I was later told I would be charged for the modification. This inconsistency and lack of clear communication left me frustrated and misled. I hoped for a smooth experience, but this situation was disappointing. I hope the hotel takes these concerns seriously and works to improve its service and customer relations. I would appreciate a prompt resolution.
“ACAB”
Perched on a hill overlooking Dakhla, it feels like a Foreign Legion fortress in the desert. Contact the owner well before arriving; otherwise, if you’re not part of a pre‑arranged group, the place can feel deserted. Once there, food delivery can be arranged and is delicious. Police in the New Valley region are a total nuisance, worse than flies. Overall, don’t bother visiting the oases; industrialisation has turned them into an ugly shithole and the police won’t let you be alone for a minute.
“Piękny zamek bez ciepłej wody”
The place is nicely located. I booked a non‑refundable deal, but the owner demanded an extra payment on arrival. It feels like the owner built the hotel more for himself than for guests. He has a great office and a salt cave, but he didn’t care about hot water in the rooms. After an intervention, he promised hot water from 5 am. My photos show only one pipe supplying the shower and toilet, and I never saw hot water flushing the toilet.
“Deception”
The hotel is well‑located and has potential. The staff is pleasant, and we enjoyed a good lunch. The owner’s attitude was to overcharge for meals, and we didn’t receive breakfast on the day of departure as agreed. There is also no Wi‑Fi.
