“お蕎麦屋さんの敷地内の民泊”
The place was clean and the mattress firmness was just right. However, the photos and description were misleading, and the accommodation was basically one room converted from a prefab kitchen behind a soba shop on the premises. The bath was located right next to the kitchen in the soba shop, separated only by a curtain. Inside the room everything was tidy, but the futon cover and towels were subpar. I stayed for two nights; although the staff said there was no room cleaning, I found the bath towel had been collected and the comforter had been changed when I entered. I don't think they intended to be malicious, but I personally didn't want them to enter my room without permission. The host was pleasant, but the experience felt like staying at a relative's house I rarely visited because of the reasons above. The price felt high given the service level and the prefab-like room. If they offered soba service, the price would have seemed more reasonable.
