Everything was perfect – a very beautiful, well‑kept and spotless hotel, with a hugely varied breakfast (even a take‑away option for early risers), a convenient location that made getting everywhere easy, and a great neighbourhood. The staff were incredibly friendly, listened to our wishes and always tried to fulfil them. Our room was enormous, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom large and attractive.

The hotel sits in a great spot, the balcony is wide and gets plenty of light, the shower cubicle is just the right size and the restaurant is quiet. We were on the third floor while the pool is on the second, and looking from the pool up to the terrace you can clearly see the rooms, so a third of the balcony door should have an opaque film to protect guests’ privacy. The coffee served at breakfast was murky and tasted bitter, apparently due to a filtration issue.

The hotel is well‑situated with acceptable facilities, and the receptionists and staff are very pleasant. Perhaps because we were there in low season, we stayed two nights and on the second day’s breakfast, unlike the first, there was nothing on the long tables to eat (the previous day we had yogurt, cereals, jams, a toaster, bread, fresh milk, sweets, etc); they only served what we ordered, so it wasn’t a five‑star hotel breakfast. The facilities were fine but not up to those stars, and we also had an issue with the gym where the air conditioning didn’t work and it was impossible to use it (they fixed it after we reported it). In short, the hotel is okay but could improve.
