The Deluxe King Room offers an extra‑large double bed and a sofa bed, sleeping up to three guests. A private bathroom is equipped with a shower and free toiletries. Air‑conditioning, a flat‑screen TV with cable channels, and a tea‑and‑coffee maker provide climate control and entertainment. A wardrobe supplies storage space.
They need to clean the cobwebs
The location is great, but checking in can be noisy because you have to enter the Commercial Hotel, and it’s hard to hear the staff. I suspect this only happens on weekends.
Lady at reception was really nice and accommodating. All we really had to complain about was the electric blankets. Out of 3 only 1 worked. Apart from that very nice place. Gave us extra coffee and tea and milk. Will probably stay there again next year. Electric blankets didn't work
We always choose the Travellers Rest when we visit Swan Hill for family events because its location is ideal—just a short walk to shops and restaurants, and right behind the Commercial Hotel where we regularly dine. The price point is very reasonable, and the rooms stay consistently clean and comfortable, making each visit enjoyable. The only drawback is the lighting; it feels a bit dim even with the main light on, and I wish there were bedside tables on both sides of the bed.
