The location is good. The staff handled things very poorly… they initially said no room was booked, then claimed I hadn’t paid, the room was smoky and not ventilated.

This place had its perks - the location was spot on, not too far from town but close enough to the countryside. Staff were friendly, breakfast was decent, and the room was a good size, pretty comfy too. However, the hotel felt like it was due for a makeover, with shabby paintwork in the room and worn-out woodwork everywhere. The corridors didn't help, with peeling paint on the walls - it just didn't live up to the photos, and I'm puzzled by all the glowing reviews.

Unfortunately, basically everything went wrong. The room was a letdown - it didn't match what we'd booked or what we'd paid for. The hotel didn't offer any solutions or try to make it right. Not impressed.
