The location was perfect by the dock and where the train dropped us off. I asked for an extra pillow but no one replied to the text and nobody was at the desk.

The place is well‑located, cheaper than most options in town, and the staff are pleasant and efficient. Be prepared for an older, smaller room—especially the bathroom—but it’s adequate.

The staff tried to find an alternative solution for our second night with a change to another property. The rooms were dusty, cleaning was poor, and the blankets were dirty. There was no phone in the room. I had mentioned my dust‑mite allergy and the need for a clean room during booking, but this didn’t happen; we were given an old, dirty room. We would have left that evening, but there were no other accommodations available in the area.

The spot’s spot‑on for travelers, with a microwave, fridge, and a self‑service laundry room. The breakfast fell flat, missing basic items—yogurt was absent two days, milk was gone one day. The staff seemed unenthusiastic, mostly seasonal workers handling the basics, and a few came off as rude. When I asked why yogurt was missing on day one, they said it would arrive the next day, but it never did, and the staff offered no apology.
