The owner and his family are very warm and kind. When I asked to use the kitchen to cook, they were very thorough in helping me and took responsibility for arranging the Tutu car.
We stepped into Sri Lanka’s beauty from this place, and the welcome we got from the lovely owners was sublime. I urge everyone to visit and let Bob guide you—he was kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. If we ever return, we’ll stop by again to meet Bob and Tisse. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts for everything. The people were friendly and the place comfortable.
“Nice and cosy”
The family were incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the spot was perfect—just a 30‑minute walk to the Cave temples. Breakfast was good and offered great value. The room and toilet weren’t very clean, and when they offered a list of breakfast items, they were missing half of them in the morning. That turned out fine because we complained and they supplied everything they had originally promised without fuss. If we hadn’t mentioned it, we would have had a small breakfast.

The price was low, and the staff were ready to help with household chores. The new clean sheets were fine, but the room itself wasn’t the cleanest and felt a bit abandoned.
