I got a clean room with its own bathroom and even managed to store my motorcycle in the enclosed area. The front desk staff struggled to find solutions; past complaints about the water cooler seemed to have left them discouraged, so there was no water, which wasn’t a huge issue but made the staff look unhappy and ineffective at solving problems. There was no credit‑card POS machine, so I had to pay cash – the receptionist told me to settle it “today,” but I couldn’t use the king’s payment option, forcing me to withdraw cash on Sunday, give a $10 tip, and even hand over some Uzbek som, which they couldn’t make change for, then they asked me to go to a shop to break the 60,000‑som note. In the end they just said they wouldn’t give me change and acted as if it were my fault.

The hotel is close to the old part of town, but the stairs are very inconvenient.

The place was clean and the staff were friendly, but the price tricked me because the taxes were much higher on booking. I’ll check carefully next time.

The guest house is very pretty. For breakfast you can order fried eggs. The courtyard is cozy and you can sit by a beautiful fountain. I would have liked oatmeal and a buffet for breakfast, plus a moderate amount of fried eggs.
