“Wonderful guesthouse and lovely hostess”

The balcony view and dining room are amazing and a great spot to unwind after a long day of hiking; the guesthouse sits right in the center, only a 2‑minute walk to town. Breakfast is delicious and changes daily, and the hostess, Thea, is one of the nicest people I’ve met in Georgia—she arranged day trips at great prices, handled our laundry, and even packed lunches for us, making our trip to Svaneti truly special. The only downside was that we didn’t have enough holidays to stay longer at Guesthouse Data.

“Wonderful host”

Our 3‑night stay was wonderful because the owner, Tea, goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed. The rooms are simple yet spacious and comfortable, and the shower was hot. Breakfast is served in an enclosed glass dining area with great mountain views and is a meal not to be missed; the food is delicious and plentiful. Tea is incredibly helpful with suggestions for what to do and see, and we appreciated the fresh fruit, baked goods, and laundry service she provided. This family‑run guesthouse is a great place to stay in Mestia.
