“Good location and pleasant friendly staff made the stay comfortable and relaxing”
The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed, a dressing table, coffee table, and easy chairs; I spent time writing at the dressing table, though I never used the large wardrobe, and a suitcase stand would have been more useful. The same floor had a well‑arranged lounge area and a large communal balcony with tables and chairs for guests, plus free bottled water and fresh towels. Because of city‑wide power cuts, a large room torch was provided. The toilet was below standard and lacked pressurized water; the shower was poorly supplied and had no hot water. I was told a previous guest had damaged the heater, but that excuse seemed weak given how long I stayed. I was offered a room change but stayed because the room was larger than the alternative. The main room could fit a couple of easy chairs or a sofa, but only dining‑style chairs were available.
