Seehotel Pilatus

“Will be much better when work finished”

By the lake, the spa is lovely and the staff are helpful. They were renovating the mid‑level restaurant, which turned out to be a bigger eyesore than expected. There are no light bites or bar food. The room looks very dated and tired. It sits on an extremely busy road.

“Die Hote hat extrem viel Potenzial, aber das Hotel von innen hat einen erheblichen Renovierungstau, und das was inzwisch”

The accommodation felt like a construction site at the time because it was being renovated, and inside it was still quite old with no appealing interior, even in the new building. Every time you need a bath towel you have to add and remove it from a list, which is very cumbersome. The rooms are very noisy to each other. In the bathroom there is only one soap, no conditioner and no body lotion, which is unacceptable for a four‑star hotel. There is also no coffee or tea bar in the room. The dining area is extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet offers a poor selection for a four‑star hotel: only wheat rolls, only plain yogurt in a small glass, no flaxseed, and butter and cream cheese in small plastic containers.

The view is incredible 😍 and the spa is amazing 😍. The room was a bit old‑fashioned, and there were works happening at the restaurant.

A beautiful hotel right on the lake with tasty food. Unfortunately the bathroom is open and there is no proper door to the toilet.

The location by the lake is great, the Pilatusbahn and public transport are convenient and easy to reach. The single room on the street is noisy and has worn out.
