I had mold in the room, which left me very ill for the first two days and caused serious stress after I informed the villa owner; they moved me to another room, but the bed had ants, which really frustrated me. The staff were good, but the standard was low and the price didn’t match the value.

The lobby was nice and you could sit there comfortably. The reception was inflexible; it’s the only place in Thailand that will fine you 1000 baht if you accidentally drop a small piece of paper in the toilet. It feels like a trap.

The hotel’s location and the staff’s courteous service are very good, and the upper rooms are far better than the pool‑side rooms or the cabins, so I always choose the upper ones. However, there were ants, mosquitoes, and other insects, and the room wasn’t ready when we arrived, but we were satisfied thanks to their polite handling.
