“Visite en plein coeur du souk de Sousse”
Mouna welcomed us and took care of our family with great advice; the place is amazing and rich in history—thanks, Mouna. The bedding is firm, but that’s a personal preference.

It had a nice traditional vibe, was clean, and the AC worked well.

The hotel was well‑located, the host very friendly, the place spotless, and the view of the Medina was fantastic. We stayed as a family; the first four‑room was good (my daughter, my husband, and I slept there). The second four‑room was a triple and not as good; two people had to climb steep stairs to reach the bed. At night it was terrible—people almost fell when going to the toilet. The Wi‑Fi was awful; hardly any signal in the room.

A beautiful historic house full of charm. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, making me feel very welcome and I can generally recommend the place. However, it isn’t suitable for everyone. Because of the historic construction, there are very steep and narrow stairs; in my room a stair led to the upper bed area. That didn’t bother me since I only used the lower single bed. The value for money didn’t fully convince me. I understand that maintaining such a historic building requires significant effort, but I still felt the price was a bit high. On the other hand, the pricing might help maintain a quiet and respectful guest environment, which suits the house’s special character (the acoustics of a historic building are naturally different from a modern hotel). Overall, a very special accommodation with great atmosphere, excellent staff, and quirks you expect from a historic house.
