The Stonehouse Motel and Restaurant in Truro offers an on-site restaurant and bar, free WiFi, and proximity to Truro Golf and Country Club, just 1 km away. Each air-conditioned room features cable TV, an alarm clock, and an en-suite bathroom with free toiletries. A launderette and furnished terrace are also available, along with a short drive to Victoria Park and the Bay of Fundy.

The location was good. I usually don’t write bad reviews, but for what I paid I feel people should know the real state: mold, rust, and a toilet that ran loudly all night. It was in need of a facelift because of its age, and it took more than a week to get the security deposit back.

The location was good. The toilet kept running, and the bed linen had old blood stains. The bathroom light over the sink stayed on all night, preventing any restful sleep. The bedspread was stained and discussed. When the bathroom light turned on, the air conditioner cut out. The motel looks very run down, dirty, with rusted heaters and a TV model swinging on its wires. I will never book here again, and I think the booking site should not promote this dump to anyone.

Clean, simple, warm and cozy. The bath was nice and the room was quiet, so I slept well on the comfy bed at a great price. The microwave was handy for heating leftovers. I had to bring my own bath tub stopper because none was provided, and I wished there were coat hangers on the door or wall. A few instant coffees and a water boiler in the morning would have been nice.
