Located just outside Mestre town centre, Hotel Antico Moro is a restored 17th-century building with 14 spacious, modern rooms featuring satellite TV and Wi-Fi. The hotel boasts a charming breakfast room, elegant bar, and free Internet corner. Guests enjoy a discount at the adjacent restaurant/pizzeria and have easy access to Venice via buses departing from outside the hotel in just 15 minutes.

The value for money in Venice was solid. The staff were friendly, the parking was convenient, and getting to Venice was easy. The room was clean and spacious. The only downside was the noise from the busy street at night.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was included, very large, and easy to find. The “Zelarino Municipio” bus stop is right outside the hotel. Lines 5E and 6E depart early in the morning straight to Venice. During the day you can reach Venice via Mestre Centro (with a tram transfer) in about 35 minutes. A single ticket costs €1.50, which is very cheap. Great connectivity and friendly service – the breakfast could use improvement. The breakfast was unfortunately very sugary. We appreciated the boiled eggs and the small selection of sausage and cheese, but we would have liked more bread options and fresh vegetables such as salad or bell pepper.

The cleaning was good and the family room had plenty of space. The family room’s bathroom lacked a traditional shower.

The location is great, close to a nice restaurant and supermarket. There is a shared terrace. Parking is easy for an SUV. The staff were very helpful.
