The rooftop views were spectacular, and the spot was convenient for restaurants, the underground, and river walks. The staff were courteous and friendly. The price was high for a “king suite,” which turned out to be a double bedroom with a sofa bed. The bedroom window faced a railway track, bringing intrusive train noise and high‑rise flats into view. The mocktails were pricey and weak, with a hefty £4.50 service charge for two drinks at a table. There was no coffee lounge or place to relax outside the reception area.

location and facilities were good - nice rooftop swimming pool and bar - good choice of restaurants in hotel and surrounding areas. room cleanliness was not good - dust on mirror. no proper towel rail in bathroom and hooks inadequate. Some items not replaced when used (eg face cloth, cotton pads). Desk in room did not have mirror to do makeup or dry hair. Complicated lighting and aircon controls - very hard to operate at night. Safe placed too high for short people. Parking was full on arrival and had to park elsewhere for firs 24 hours
