About a 15‑minute uphill walk from Kumano Hongu Taisha, this home comes with a full kitchen, living space, and a washer/dryer, making settling in a breeze. After exploring the shrine, we had a peaceful, restful night, and the host was wonderfully welcoming, even sharing fascinating local history about why houses here were built on high ground to avoid river floods. The big tourist information centre at the Hongu Bus stop is incredibly helpful. It was a bit hard to find at first when coming up the local hill, but it’s totally worth it. The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet, and the space felt so comforting and warm—just like staying at a relative’s home!

民宿有洗衣機可洗每次投入日幣200,外面可以曬衣服很方便,冰箱有啤酒飲用要付費還有貼心準備冰塊,另外廚房可以燒開水,有公用的碗筷盤子茶杯用完記得清洗,也準備一些食物可以吃依照定價投錢,方便不外食或者晚到的朋友,住宿地點就在本宮大社右邊往上很好認有個最高的斜坡往上走到底右轉就可以看到一個大大的[結]字非常清楚,也可以事先寄放行李,但記得事先通知民宿主人.我在2025年12月已住過這次再入住發現它的浴室大翻修感覺更棒.記得垃圾要分類好它們標示的很清楚. 唯一缺點民宿上去的大斜坡,但對於愛運動的我可接受
