Breakfast was freshly cooked, hot, and delicious; extra drinks and toast were always available. The location was excellent—just a five‑minute walk to the main area. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the hosts were very helpful, eager to share information. No negatives to mention.

Breakfast was decent, with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs as our pick; butter and marmalade came in tiny pots and we had to ask for more, while the orange juice was good but the glasses were very small, so I had to refill mine three times. The problem was the minuscule amounts of butter and preserves, plus the thimble‑sized tumblers.

Paul and Fiona made great hosts, and the breakfast offered plenty of options; we really enjoyed the stay and plan to come back. The only downside was that the bed felt a bit hard, which is just a personal preference.
