The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful, and considerate—big plus. The accommodation is very typical of Tuscany—a historic house exactly as seen on postcards. Everyone could ride horses and use the pool if desired. In the evening you could sit nicely in a cute courtyard. The place has enough bathrooms so you don’t run into each other. It was a nice stay, though with small quirks, but we accepted them. We actually expected a holiday house, but it was more of a two‑storey holiday apartment—still spacious. Because we are a noisy group, we thought we would be alone; we wanted to avoid disturbing anyone, but we probably did, which we regret. It was extremely hot, so the room fans barely helped. Note that the rooms are not isolated at all and it is very, very hot. Nothing can be done about that. The pool is a shared one and not directly at the house. Dogs roam freely, which can be unsettling for people who are afraid.
