A fantastic place that I recommend. A beautiful manor that has been restored to the highest comfort. Everything is clean and lovely, and the wonderful host couple tells stories about the countryside while serving a sumptuous and plentiful breakfast. A beautiful area with a nice bathing spot within walking distance, an old industrial setting with an exciting Finnstig that explains local tar and iron production, etc. Convenient distance to the Opera on Skäret.

The photo on the site was misleading; I thought I’d be at the manor but it turned out to be a regular B&B in a side building, though the breakfast was very nice.

The welcome, the layout, and the breakfast were all great. The dining room felt like a trip back in time, with well‑chosen and well‑kept furniture, and a peaceful atmosphere. I haven’t found anything negative or that needs changing yet.
