I came back after a few visits, but this was probably the last. The room smelled terribly like cigarettes, as if someone had lit one. Hot water didn’t flow, which at 10 pm would probably have been a problem. The breakfast turned into a long morning program because we had to wait a very long time (we were two). The heating had a towel from previous guests. The worst part was when I reported this at checkout, there was no apology, and it felt like a real mess.

The large room was very stylishly furnished, and the modern restaurant was very chic. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the restaurant because we always had appointments elsewhere. The breakfast had delicious egg variations. The only downside was that only one coffee specialty per person was included with breakfast; any additional coffee had to be paid for.

“Schönes Hotel mit Restaurant”

The room, beds, storage, quietness, nice restaurant, and parking were all great. The breakfast had interesting options to choose from. The stairs to the restaurant and to the room were hard on my hip, but that’s personal bad luck. We didn’t like that we couldn’t shower properly – no curtain, no showerhead holder.

The room was clean and well equipped, and the breakfast was good with an excellent on‑site restaurant, and the room price was reasonable. However, the first night the room was so cold that we couldn't sleep because the heating didn’t work. We reported the broken heating to the man who handed us the key that evening; he promised to look into it but nothing happened. The next morning we told the restaurant staff again, and they said they would ask, but later that morning we complained a third time and were told the staff had left but we would hear back after lunch. We didn’t return to the hotel that day, only picked up our luggage the next morning, and the radiators were still cold. I suspect we booked just before the first season’s significant drop in temperature, and the accommodation’s unpreparedness was surprising.

Everything was clean. For the two nights, breakfast was sparse on one day, and on the second day nobody was there and there were two pre‑packed sandwiches in the lobby. There was no electricity in the room and no one to explain the situation. Worse was the night before; we were warned that the restaurant would be closed because of a private event, which turned out to be a company party with live music until after 1 a.m. Sleep was impossible, and there was no proper communication.
