Nestled amid Warwickshire countryside, the Riverside Hotel overlooks the River Avon and sits less than five miles from historic Warwick and its medieval castle. Guests enjoy a modern Indian fusion restaurant, a bar, free Wi‑Fi, and private parking. Rooms feature TVs, private baths or showers. The venue hosts conferences in four function rooms and a marble‑floored ballroom for 500 guests.

I booked a single room for one night and received a king‑size bed in a comfortable room. The bathroom was fine with a good shower. WiFi worked well and had a proper password. Plenty of car parking. I didn’t explore the area or have breakfast, but I dined at the restaurant at the back of the complex; the beef burger wasn’t great but the optional sweet potato fries were excellent. The only issue was the room got a bit cold during the night, probably because it was early late September and no heating was on; there was air conditioning but the controller was wall‑mounted and I didn’t try to adjust it.

The location was fine, but it got noisy at night, there was no kettle, no TV remote, and no coffee.
