Location was great, quick access to battle creek and surrounding areas. #1: Staff walked into our room, while we were in it, while there was a do not disturb sign hanging. This is basically unforgivable. #2: Couldn't call the front desk. Room phone always had front desk as "busy" #3: Breakfast was the worst I've ever had at any hotel of any price range. Literally would have to pay me to eat it again. Did I mention they charge you for it? #4: On top of #3, the first time I tried to have it, they required me to pay w/ CC instead of charging the room, and then I went to get it and they were dismantling the breakfast operation, AND they wouldn't refund me. They fixed this by comping the next day's breakfast, which lead to #3 #5: At least 50% of the TV channels didn't work, and many that did were choppy #6: Persistent odor of smoke / weed in the bathroom (I assume it was guests above or below us) #7: "Amenity fees" automatically charged. No idea what this is for. #8: Charging for the abominable breakfast option

The location was suitable for our needs. The bathtub faucet was broken and the water ran continuously all night, so we could only quiet it with a towel. A burnt‑out lightbulb at the desk forced us to move bulbs around to light up for makeup. I wished there were a full‑length mirror; the only mirror was in the bathroom, so we couldn’t see a full view before leaving for the wedding.

“Not good-may not use you in the future!”

Nothing was provided as part of the stay, and the kitchen was closed because the chef was sick. What hotel doesn’t have an open kitchen? Breakfast was not included in the stay – I will never stay here again.
