A few hours before check‑in, I received a text asking me to cancel because the room was unavailable due to overbooking; the Ostoja Natura offered no compensation or alternative lodging, forcing me to scramble at the last minute for a place for myself and my partner, even though we had planned our accommodation well ahead of the tournament.

The location featured a large, green area with a beautiful river descent and ample parking, and the rooms were listed on PIN. I booked a room for 351 zł, non‑refundable, with payment due on arrival, and the site said private parking cost 25 zł per day, so I expected a total of 376 zł, but the owners added an extra 95 zł for parking after informing me by email the day before arrival, leaving me no chance to find another place. On 12 June at 19:47 (my reservation was for 13‑14 June) the property emailed saying they had no room available, then the next morning said a room was free but required the additional 95 zł parking fee—an unreasonable demand given the advertised 25 zł. It felt like a scam; eventually we stayed in the room, but later the owner claimed we hadn’t shown up, and I had to produce the receipt. The whole situation was very unpleasant and unlike anything I’ve experienced before.

Breakfast was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, there was no problem storing bicycles, and the idea of a little raccoon enclosure was fantastic – my daughter loved it, and the dock was very close to the river. The only downside was that we were in a festival weekend with many events in the area, and the room cost about 600 zł per night for 2+1 with breakfast (I think that’s a bit high for the area), but the other attractions made up for it.

We ended up in a different room than the one we booked. The bed was very soft and old. At check‑in the lady said breakfast was included, but then they wanted us to pay for it. It was the worst and most expensive breakfast I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t have stayed if it wasn’t actually included (though the lady assured me it was). Parking was also charged even though the place is in the middle of nowhere and has plenty of space. It’s the same place as Dworek Besiadny, and I think they renamed it because of the bad reviews.
