This place is a complete hit in every way, and I’m already planning to come back next year. Unlike many all‑in‑all inclusive spots, it’s not loud and chaotic. Even with plenty of kids around, the calm vibe and the staff’s hospitality make it easy to relax.

“Great stay in Hakuba. We loved the Sierra Resort.”

The amenities are amazing, and the staff are super friendly and polite. Both the private and public onsens are great, and the shuttle service works well. I’d just add a few hooks for towels to hang on; in our family suite there weren’t enough spots for wet towels.

“A beautiful hotel with excellent views and a memorable onsen experience”

Beautiful location with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and resort. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a great view from our window. The staff were polite and welcoming throughout our stay. The onsen was a fantastic experience and definitely one of the highlights of the hotel. The hotel is quite expensive, and unfortunately there were very limited food options for vegetarians. At hotels of this price range, chefs often try to accommodate dietary requirements, but this was difficult here. Even the miso soup was confusing — we asked three times because the smell made us unsure, and were told the first two times that it was vegetarian, but the third time we were advised that it contained fish. Transport was also a bit inconvenient. The bus stop is quite far, and the complimentary hotel transport starts late in the morning and returns quite early from the ski resorts. Taxis were difficult to arrange in the mornings
