I had a delegation, found an acceptable room at a reasonable price (with breakfast) compared to other places, and booked it. In Covasna there aren’t many options for a single night; the other, much more expensive ones only make sense on vacation. The place needs renovation.

The location is fine, the staff are polite, the food is simple but good and cheap. The Covasna Diocese bought the hotel and didn’t invest anything; everything is rushed, but it’s very expensive for what’s offered. They buy and leave everything in disrepair.

The room was spacious with a balcony, the linens were clean, and the staff at reception and the restaurant were friendly. The furniture in the room was old, and there was a noticeable old smell. The car access to the courtyard and the side parking of the hotel is awful, with bumps and potholes. The bathroom, although spacious, also has old sanitary equipment.

The view was great, but the rooms felt like communist bunkers with holes in the floor and broken partitions; the food was okay, yet the portions were huge—about 40 minutes to get a green salad when three tables were already full—and the prices were outrageous for what was offered. I never normally leave negative reviews, but this hotel doesn’t deserve a single star!
