“I wish we could have stayed longer”
The place was amazing, but we only got to stay one night. The spot itself is so quiet and well‑located that we left wishing we could have stayed longer. We did a quick kayak trip down the river before we left, and the facilities were top‑notch. Watching the sunset here is a must, and the night roads are literally lined with kangaroos—pretty wild. Plus, the Capricorn Caves are just a ten‑minute drive away.

The hosts are genuinely lovely, welcoming us with a friendly vibe. The location is perfect—serene and tranquil, just what you need. Our lodge room was spacious and inviting, giving us plenty of room to relax. The whole place feels beautiful and peaceful; I can’t recommend it enough—we loved every minute.
Out of town, this spot feels like a cozy hideaway by the river. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need, and the staff are absolutely top‑notch—definitely coming back.
