The location is generally fantastic – a lovely garden surrounds the old mansion, the interior décor is wonderful, and the room is spacious enough, not huge but adequate, with a nice view of the garden. Be warned about the small step into the toilet – I almost tripped. Otherwise everything was great.

The ambiance was very good and the breakfast was fine. However, only card payments were accepted at the front desk, and the exchange rate for EUR payments was 10 % above the regular rate.

The interior and exterior of the palace were beautiful, clean, cozy, and impressively quiet.

It’s an interesting place with a beautiful park where you can stretch out. The location is great, close to the border and a gas station. The staff are friendly and approachable, and you can have tea or coffee. I was there at the beginning of October and I worry that there are times of year when it can be cold. I’m not sure the bedding is always fresh; my sheets smelled (luckily) of masculine Cologne water.

The room was spacious, clean, and had two bedrooms surrounded by palace‑grade greenery. The owner was very friendly and helpful with local tours. We highly recommend it! It would have been great if we could stay more than one night.
